Months back Ammon recommended me this book here Arcana Mundi by George luck and it really goes in deep into Greek magic and it talks about necromancy and we understand that necromancy is this idea of raising the dead and speaking to the dead through divination but he says that that's actually a later Greek tradition and it's more of a Christian tradition kind of comes out of origin and more of these apologetics and he relates it to these earlier Greek practices these two different magical traditions we have the necqua and we

Have katabasas so I was wondering Ammon can you talk to us about these two things what are they what's going on in the Greek tradition yeah sure just briefly the nextquia is that famous descent into the place where you can access the Dead the souls the dead so you can see it stinks of necromancy right that naquia is that journey and we have one of these very nicely delivered to us by hope none other than Homer himself right so Odysseus's Journey
